- Fruit is large and white
- Virtually seedless

Star Ruby
Appearance:
- Darkest of the pigmented grapefruit
- Thin yellow skin with red background
- The internal flesh is deep red. It is the most heavily pigmented grapefruit and rarely has more than one or two seeds
- Low-seeded or seedless
- High, sweet flavoured, juice content
Production:
- End March/early April to mid August
Ruby Red
Appearance:
- Pink in colour and easily recognised by its external colouring
- Identifical to Marsh in most other fruit characteristics
- Low-seeded
Production:
- Early April to early June
