Bonathaba

Bonathaba is situated in the Western Cape close to the Berg River, midway between Wellington and Malmesbury. The Western Cape is ideal for grape and citrus production due to its Mediterranean climate and well-drained soils. This climate, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, provides the ideal conditions for grape and citrus farming.

Dole South Africa has a long term lease agreement on Bonathaba and the adjacent farm, Zwartfontein. Grapes are harvested here between November and January. Citrus is harvested between May and July.
