Zwartfontein is situated in the Western Cape close to the Berg River, midway between Wellington and Malmesbury. Dole South Africa has a long term lease agreement on both Zwartfontein and the adjacent farm, Bonathaba. Grapes are harvested here between November and January. Citrus is harvested between May and July.
